Also I can only find images for it on Canadian websites. Weird choice Honda, why even bother?

All turbo CRV’s and Civic’s have them in Canada (Even the Type R)

Hah, silly owners. Good thing that’s not coming out of the factory like that, because that would be extremely embarrassing.

Who thought Canadians care that much that all cars should say “turbo” , but not enough to make a badge or put it somewhere decent?

Looks fine to me? Perhaps being a child of the ‘80s has given me a greater appreciation of both turbo badges and asymmetry?
Honestly the TOURING badge bothers me a lot more, feels like they were just like “just slap it somewhere down in that corner”.

Lol, its on there.

I think it’s an historic throwback. For at least several 80s/90s Hondas there was a window sticker subtly boasting of ABS or SRS or AWD 4WS or some other fairly mundane “feature” on the rear window in just such plain white text.

Turbo is the new beige?
![]() 02/06/2019 at 11:46 |

I just went through Honda’s Canadian site and every other Turbo sticker is dead center. This just seems so “welp, 2 inches to the right then”. Seeing it IRL was weird.
I agree about that touring badge though, right under AWD would have been better.

I’ve always wondered about this. I am not a fan
![]() 02/06/2019 at 11:49 |

I get that, but slightly off center is odd.
Even the Accord’s is weird but at least its centered.

I love it, it’s awesome with the 80's font
This, this is stupid and ugly
![]() 02/06/2019 at 11:50 |

Turbos are certainly every where.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 11:51 |

I mean, how many of those others have rear wipers? It seems pretty clear it’s off center because there’s something else in the center. Maybe it should be vertically aligned with the center of the rear wiper ?
![]() 02/06/2019 at 11:52 |

I bought the Canadian TURBO stickers for my Civic Si. I’m not sure yet if I’ll put them on

The rando “RS” badge hanging out in space or the ghastly taillights?
![]() 02/06/2019 at 11:55 |
|
They should’ve affixed it to the rear wiper - so when it starts wiping, it’s super annoying for drivers behind you to try and read it.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 11:55 |

This also has the 80s font, but is centered.
No excuse for that Camaro badge.

110% better solution.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 12:02 |

It just reeks of being haphazardly done after the fact for a smaller market. I dont have a solution.

Why not get a “ VTEC TURBO” sticker?
![]() 02/06/2019 at 12:11 |
|
because it’s not what I want
![]() 02/06/2019 at 12:14 |

you see the rear windshield wiper right?
![]() 02/06/2019 at 12:21 |

“I’m upset that the turbo sticker can’t be placed through the rear wiper arm ”
![]() 02/06/2019 at 12:24 |
|
Lol yes, doesn’t excuse something from being 2 % off center. It’s asymmetrical because they didn’t have a better idea, not on purpose.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 12:26 |

“I’m upset because someone in a regional office had an idea and didn’t execute it well”
![]() 02/06/2019 at 12:35 |

Not with that attitude.

“I find minor and inconsequential details to bitch and moan about”
![]() 02/06/2019 at 12:53 |

Even my sub-200hp sedan is a twin turbo. Diesel though.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 12:57 |

Lol, design and engineers fight over millimeters. That would have never got approved in a studio.
I expect you to move your Infiniti logo 2 inches to the right now, if its so minor it won’t matter.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 12:59 |

Old school TURBO stickers are cool, this is like an ABS badge on the back of a Silverado.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 13:01 |
|
It’s a fucking turbo sticker, what kind of engineer do you think would give a fuck?
![]() 02/06/2019 at 13:05 |

That was meant to allude that people give a shit at corporate. That sticker placement is shoddy at best, s trive to be better HondaBro.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 13:06 |
|
Exactly. It’s not the same thing, but maybe jogging the memories of those who came of age in the 80s, although their CRV toaster isn’t exactly a Porsche or even a Volvo.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 13:11 |

That’s some quality Doug fodder there.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 13:11 |

Lol I’m done with you.

The Canadian Civic Type-R gets a VTEC TURBO sticker as well. Apparently when the CTR first came out, US owners we re driving the prices of these things up to crazy numbers. But now they’re on ebay for an “affordable” 20 bucks.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 13:14 |

There you go, all nice and centered
![]() 02/06/2019 at 13:18 |

Driving a CLA 300 I didn’t even know it was turbocharged until I looked it up. You an only feel when you put the driving mode into Sport+ and the throttle response ramps up.
Otherwise it felts like a v6. It’s amazing how boring you can make a 240hp turbo car when you put your mind to it.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 14:26 |

Canadian market off centered sticker, peak quirk.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 14:29 |

Haha, “ CDM” . Something about people makes them want something more if they cant get it.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 14:30 |

Ha thanks. I know its a joke but either Nissan Cube/escort grill it up or be symmetrical.
![]() 02/06/2019 at 16:14 |

And amazing what can be done these days with 4 cylinders and a moderate displacement. That was heady powerful V6 territory 15 years ago. Power overall is more boring these days, I think.
